How to reinvent a family tradition through a contemporary look? The metamorphosis of the family legacy
The history of Amparo Camp is one of those stories that struks deep in the heart and stay inside. It is as if Antonio Vega’s song from ” El sitio de mi recreo ” sounds in a loop. A story of overcoming, of bravery and, why not?, Also of unconsciousness. Unconsciousness in the best sense of the word .
Only someone without fear of failure has a better chance of reaching interesting places. And Amparo has already colonized a few.
Soon we will launch a series of three Documentary Videos that we have made thanks to AVEC and the Craft Center in which you can learn more about this great businesswoman and ceramist.
Meanwhile we would love to introduce you to Amparo, one of those people who does not leave you indifferent:
Amparo is a story of struggle and improvement in which nothing was ever easy and despite this, she never considered surrendering as an option either.

Maora is the line that Amparo founded when he realized that he could take advantage of the space and infrastructures of the family workshop combined with the contemporary design and techniques demanded by other professionals such as architects and interior designers.

And now, Maora lives with Vicente Camp, the brick company that his father founded, in the family factory-workshop where they have incorporated a team of designers, master craftsmen and professionals who are experts in ceramics who interpret the needs of their clients, contributing their artistic sensitivity to each project.

How do ancient techniques get along with modern times?
The workshop located in Aldaia is part of Amparo’s family legacy and has a 100-meter-long centennial oven that feeds on sawdust. All tiles are handcrafted one by one, giving all of your finished pieces a life of their own.
It is precisely that personality that resides in each of its pieces that its clients are looking for. For this reason, Amparo has worked for spaces such as Bombas Gens and Central Park and restaurants such as La Satrería, Piur, Voltereta Bali or Chido Restaurant, among others.
